Learning Experience is one of the most exciting and important topics within the SAP learning organization. Hence, Thomas Jenewein and Christoph Haffner are very happy to have Rudyard Hopkins in this episode of Education NewsCast!

In this episode we talk to Rudyard, a graduate student of instructional design and product manager in the edtech SaaS industry. We discuss his passion for Learning Experience Design and product management. Some of the topics we discussed with Rudyard include outcome focused, activation of prior knowledge, cognitive psychology, neuro-learning, deliberate practice, cognitive task analysis, human centered design, and design thinking. We also look at success factors for good LX design including learner empathy and problem framing. In regards to industry trends we cover machine learning, responsive design and the explosion of coding bootcamps with a focus on VSchool bootcamp based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
