Elena Philipova, Director, Sustainable Finance, London Stock Exchange Group

Elena is responsible for driving the integration of ESG, green and sustainable data, insights and analytics into the different products, services and client propositions across LSEG’s Data & Analytics Division.

This includes managing the overarching ESG strategy for the Refinitiv business, as well as the integration of our market-leading ESG, green revenues and TPI data sets across Refinitiv and FTSE Russell indices.

Elena has worked in sustainable investments and ESG for 16 years, holding a variety of industry positions, including membership of the European Commission Technical Expert Group (TEG) on Sustainable Finance.

She was also a member of the ESG Working Group advising the CFA Institute on ESG standards for financial products. Currently, she is an Advisory Board member of Sustainable Finance .LIVE and frequently speaks at ESG conferences and events.

Previously, Elena led the global ESG business at Refinitiv, the former Financial and Risk business of Thomson Reuters. Her career began at Morgan Stanley followed by ASSET4, where she worked as a Senior ESG Analyst.

Elena holds an MBA and BA in Finance and International business from Stetson University, Florida.

Betty Moon, Financial Services Industry Executive Advisor, SAP

Dr. Betty Moon is a financial services industry leader and experienced business line executive, consultant, and advisor.  With a passion for the power of technology, she inspires leaders to create exceptional customer and employee experiences through digital transformation.

As SAP’s North America Financial Services Industry Advisor, Dr. Moon is SAP’s brand evangelist to the banking, capital markets and private equity industries.  In her role she helps organizations design their futures and improve their results by bridging technology and business through her research on customer experience, digital transformation, strategy, and workforce management.

Before joining SAP in 2016, Dr. Moon’s corporate career included leadership roles with Bank of America as Head of National Sales Performance, PNC Investments as EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, National City Bank as EVP and Head of the Retail Investment Division, and Huntington Bank where she led the Private Financial Group. She has developed strategic visions for new businesses and led large scale organizational change with discipline for organic and acquisition growth.

Dr. Moon earned both her Doctor of Management and Master of Science degrees from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, with research focused on business leadership and sales performance.  A frequent keynote speaker, moderator, and panel participant, Dr. Moon is active on corporate, university and philanthropic boards.  She has been honored with the Bank Insurance and Securities Association’s most prestigious award, the Circle of Excellence, for her commitment to the profession and contributions to advancing the industry.

Dr. Moon is a passionate supporter of women’s issues and a champion for corporate diversity.  She and her husband, David, a labor relations management consultant, are based in the U.S. Midwest.
