Brian Ardinger, Author of Accelerated, is the cofounder of Inside Outside Innovation, which is a community for entrepreneurs, innovators, and anyone interested in accelerating innovation ideas. Brian publishes a weekly podcast, newsletter, and annual event series.  He also serves as Director of Innovation at Nelnet. 

For over 25 years, he has been helping entrepreneurs and enterprises navigate and compete in a world of change and disruption. He has led efforts between start-ups and corporations to engage the latest trends, tools, and tactics to accelerate innovation, launch new ideas, and develop new products.

Previously, he founded the seed-stage accelerator NMotion and co-founded the corporate innovation consultancy Econic. He was Chief Marketing Officer at Nanonation, working with clients including Pepsi, Target, Nike, Mazda, Harley-Davidson, and Royal Caribbean. 

He built out the consulting arm in Asia for Gartner and worked with technology giants including Microsoft, IBM, and HP. Brian also led Asia's first dedicated customer experience lab as head of research at Ion Global, a Hong Kong-headquartered technology firm.

He has been a champion of the Midwest startup and innovation ecosystem through his work with programs such as Startup Champions Network, gener8tor, Lean Startup Circle, PIPELINE Entrepreneurs, Startup Weekend, Nebraska Tech Collaborative, Rise of the Rest, Startup Week, UP Global, Nebraska Angels, and the JumpStart Challenge.

He is a regular contributor to industry publications, a public speaker, and quoted industry expert with over two decades of experience in digital media, marketing, consulting, and research. Brian holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Nebraska–Omaha and an MBA from Penn State.
