Guest Speaker:  David Williams, Founder & CEO Impact International

The old adage has always been “that people leave bosses/leaders and not organisations”. It is a common tail. No matter how much truth there is in that statement, it is clear that at all levels of an organisation from a first line manager to a senior executive, a leader can have a material impact on how we feel about our place of work, our engagement and our wellbeing.

As we move through one of the most disruptive times in recent history to more of a hybrid and virtual working model, the requirements and demands of what is deemed to be the role of the leader will change considerably. This of course is in addition to all of the other changes happening in the world of work including skills shortages, demographic changes, workplace expectations and the list goes on.

In this episode we delve into what that change means in reality and what organisations need to be doing differently to prepare and support their leaders with this hugely changing context. David and his team at Impact International have been immersed in these challenges and the expectations of leadership for the last 40 years bringing inspiration and change to the world’s leading organisation. To this day, one of my most powerful learning experiences was working with Impact during our global leadership programme “One Extra Degree” over a decade ago.
